SALE IN FRANKTON YARDS. Messrs Dalgety and Gompany report having held their usual weekly stock sale in Frankton yards on Tuesday, when there was an average yarding of beef, which sold at last week's rates, a. consignment of 15 prime bullocks on account of Mr Palmer, of Katikati, averaging £l3 18s per head, the tops making up to £l4 10s; prime young cows and heifers sold at £8 10s to £lO, heavy aged cows £7 7s to £8 ss, light fat heifers £5 15s to £7 15s, runners to £4, vealers to £3 2s. There was a moderate yarding of store cattle, which sold at late rates. Sheep were yarded in good numbers, and fats sold at late rates, only a few pens being prime, the balance being unfinished; fat wethers made to 395, fat ewes 27s 6d to 295, fat hoggets to. 28s 6d, forward-conditioned wethers 365, SO ditto store 4 and 6-tooth wethers 325, 540 forward wethers 34s 6d. A moderate yarding of fat and store pigs was submitted; baconers eased in values, fat porkers and all classes of stores were slightly firmer; medium to heavy baconers made £3 10s to £3 17s, good porkers and light baconers £2 18s to £3 6s, medium porkers £2 10s to £2 10s,, light £2 s > unfinished 30s to £3ss, stores 25s to 275, good slips to small porkers 15s to 225, weaners 8s 6d to 12s, small 3s 6d to ss.
