SEND OFF TO OLYMPIC GAMES. (By Telegraph—Press Association). GISBORNE, This. Day. Miss Norma Wilson is leaving today to represent New Zealand at the Olympiad. She was accorded a great send-ofr, and she has been the guiest of honour at numerous functions in the past week, including a civic well and several entertainments by Maoris. Lady Carroll presented her with a valuable mat, and another mat was given by the tribes of Poverty Bay and Hawke’s Bay. Miss Wilson also carries a greenstone tiki for good luck. The citizens presented her with a travelling outfit.
