(By Telegra^ iNGT One outcome of the Industrial Conference so far is that all sections of employers' represented at the conference have come into line and accept as a compromise the proposal mades byMr Bishop, for the Employers' Federation, that, the conciliation system shall be preserved intact, but appeal to the Arbitration Court will no longer be made oompulsory.
The Te Awamutu Jersey Club s demonstration at Waikeria Institute yesterday was well attended consdiering fiie weather conditions, and Mr &. Griffiths again give a very interesting address, following the lines of his remarks at Kihikihi the previous afternoon. The visitors were afterwards accorded the opportunity by Mr Dunlop (the superintendent) of seeing the extent of the farming and other operations at this important institution —much to their interest and delight.
