THE LAST LADY
SURVIVOR, OF THE, MUTINY. A't Claygate, Surrey, recently, the funeral took place of Mrs Sabina ■Challoner Daniell, widow of Colonel E. G. Daniell, 55th Regiment, who died at Queen Alexandra’s Court, Wimbledon, a home for widows and daughters of naval and military officers. Mrs Daniell, who was eighty-six years of age, went through the Indian Mutiny with her father, Captain James Joyce, of the 24th Regiment, who was killed during the fighting. She had some terrible experiences, the results of which remained with her to her death. It was during the mutiny that she met her husband. Mrs Daniell was to oe the last surviving lady who' went through the mutiny.
