Apparently some people have a queer conception of the words thine and mine, and regard them as synonymous. At the " country bumpkins' " ball last Friday evening some unauthorised person or persons removed practically all of the paper flower decorations from the supper tables; others (or wa s it the same?) appropriated over three dozen small tumblers used for dispensing claret cup; while the removal of several ismall articles left by their owners in motor cars parked near the building is also reported Surely the promoters of such a fine evening's enjoyment are entitled to some better form of appreciation from guests than that.
