' SHAREHOLDERS CHEERFUL. DUNEDIN. This Day. T'r. i final general meeting of shareholders in the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition Co., held for tne purpose of confirming liquidation resolutions passed on June 30th, was brief and was characterised by an air of clue/fulness as becomes those who have had their part in a triumphant achievement.' Formal resolutions were passed, and the chairman, Mr Speight, mentioned that the company would be able to pay 12s 6d instead of 10s in the pound on September 2nd. The last act of all in the history of the enterprise was a resolution expressing appreciation of the services of the directors.
