EFFECTIVE ADVERTISING
CREATES ADVERTISING. Advertising does more than sell the goods advertised. The common use of fountain pens makes people impatient of the old style of pen, and 'leads to the general hahit of carrying fountain pens. Plumbing advertising carries us from the time when it was unusuial 'to hath to the installation of bathrooms in practically every home. Advertising by tanks educates people in economic/s when in other circumstances they would never hear of the subject, remedying thereby situations created by economic illiterates in the body politic. ■ And thus it is (that effective advertising creates more advertising, because changed habits and. customs of people raise standards of living and new wantfa come along with the new ways.
