SKELTON V. SEABROOK

THE MT. ROSKILL ELECTION (By Telegraph. Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Two pamphlets issued during the Mt. Roskill election campaign formed the basis of a case in the S.M. Court, when H. Hi. 'Seabrook, printer, was charged by Mr Hall-Skelton (one of the defeated candidates) with issuing defamatory statements calculated to influence the public. Seabrook is president of the local P.P.A. branch and the pamphlets contained reference to Skel'ton's selection as delegate to the Irish "set-determination" meeting at Paris and also to Michael Collins' as leader of a gang of murderers and criminals condemned to death. Decision was reserved.
