INCREASED REVENUE
PO'WIER BOARD BUSINESS;
Reporting to Friday's meeting of the Te Awamutu Electric Power Board, the manager-secretary (Mr D. McArthur) gave some most informative figures hearing on the progress of the Board. He showed that installations made since March 31st. 1925,'were:—Houses 112, cow plant motors 62, other power motors 5 (including one 80h.p. and one 40h.p. motors installed at Te. Kawa quarry), water pump motors 12„ electric stoves 20, grillers 39, boilers' 105. Continuing, Mr McArthur stated that the Board's revenue from sales of current for the month of September was £1712 4s 3d, as compared with £1330 6s 4d for September of last year. 'The manager said the report was gratifying for it indicated a steady •growth. Mr Parlane said that on this rate or. progress there would soon be a call for reduced charges. i i •Mr Macky commented that before any reduction could be considered the bank overdraft would have to be reduced. , The chairman agreed, and added tnat the overdraft was being steadily reduced.
