ATTEMPTED ROBBERY
THE yNEWMARKET AFFAIR (By Telegraph. Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Monday. In connection with the alleged attempted bank robbery at Newmarket on the night of Friday, November 6, George Joseph Marshall (60) made a further appearance at the Police Court this morning. On the charge of being armed with a loaded revolver and with assaulting Robert Gilmore with intent to rob him, Marshall was remanded to appear on November 23.
