FALSE CHEQUES.
MORRINSVILLE FOLK SUFFER.
(By Telegraph. Press Association.) MORRINSVILLE, This Day.
On Friday evening a well built man came into the town and bought goods from several shops, giving cheque's on a Te Aroha bank for £l4 and £l6 as payment. These business people and the police are now looking' for this man, who gave his name as James Gordan, advice having been received this morning that the cheques were forgeries. _____
