ENGLISH SOCCER TEAM.
PROPOSED TOUR OF NEW ZEALAND. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The Football Association has received a letter from Mr A.. Gibbs, its representative in England, stating that the question of an Australasian tour was considered'by the International Selection Committee of the Football Association' at Sheffield on Ist October A sub-committee was set up of four members, Messrs Clegg, McKenna, Lewis, and Kingscott, to consider and report. This is considered distinct evidence of the keen desire on the part of the Association to send a team on tour, as the men named are its four most influential members.
