BUYS ALEXANDRA STREET FRONTAGE.
The National Bank of New Zealand has purchased from Mr J. B. Teasdale a section fronting on to Alexandra Street, located'between Mr Teasdale’s recently erected shops and the garage building. The frontage of the block acquired by the Bank is slightly over 38 feet and has a depth of 80 feet. The purchase price of the block has been fixed at a very satisfactory figure and one which sustains the value of the main street frontages.
It is understood that a suitable building for the bank’s purposes will be erected in the very near future.
