LADIES' GOLF UNION.
(By Telegraph. —Press Association.) NELSON, This Day. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Ladies' Golf Union was held last evening, Mrs Robieson (vicepresident.) presiding. The report showed 69 clubs were affiliated. Receipts amounted to £145, and expenditure £139. The Manawatu delegate moved a remit dealing with the question of handicap in the event of a player having two consecutive wins or three at intervals within tw,o months. After a long discussion an amendment was carried that no half handicapping be made until advice is received from England. 'i he next championship was fixed for Hamilton, and the date for the Coronation Medal match was fixed for the last week in May. It was resolved that Miramar, Hamilton and Manawatu be classed as metropolitan clubs. All the officers were re-elected with the addition of Mrs Russell Grace (Waganui) among the vicepresidents.
