DAIRY EXPORT CONTROL.
THE PRODUCERS? POLL. TO BE TAKEN ON SEPTEMBER 14th The poll of dairy decide whether the provisions of the Dairy Export Control Act shall be adopted is being conducted by the Electoral Department, which will immediately circularise all registered dairy factories, requesting them to forward to Wellington full lists of their regular suppliers of miik and cream. These lists must be submitted to the chief electoral officer by September 14th. They will comprise the electors’ roll, and each person thereon will receive direct by post a voting paper, in terms of the Act, enabling him to signify his assent or otherwise to the compulsory clause coming into operation. Ballot papers are returnable by post to the chief electoral office at Wellington, and the last day for their receipt is fixed for October 17th.
