APPLICATION TO APPEAL REFUSED. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Monday. Mr Justice Sim delivered judgment on the appeal in the Lind case regarding the admissibility of the evidence of one girl in respect of the case of either or both of the other two concerned. The judge refused the application that he state a case for the Appeal Court. He held that the evidence of the three girls was admissible on all charges, as it helped to prove that a system was adopted by the accused of using his position of pastor to obtain influence over all the young women of his flock to debauch them/ and furnishing additional argument that there had not been real consent.
