CHANGES HANDS AT £21,000. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Monday. The sale of the Lyric Theatre at the top of Symonds Street, for the sum of approximately £21,000, has been effected. The building comprises a picture theatre and shops on a freehold section, and has a frontage to Symonds Street of 63 feet by a depth of 164 feet. The present lease does not expire for ten years. The purchaser is Mr A. Bishop, of Mt. Eden, the sale being brought about by Messrs Francis and Nevill.
