ELECTRIC POWER BOARD.
RESIGNATION OF MR L. G. ARMSTRONG.
It is freely stated that Mr L. G. Armstrong has resigned his seat on the Te Awaimutu Power Board in tonsequence of a technical breach of the Act relating to trading transactions. The matter will be further 'mentioned at to-morrow's meeting olf the Board. •Mr Armstrong has proved an admirable member of the Board, and an excellent representative for Te A*wamutu. General regret wfll be felt at the action which is rendered advisable in the circumstances, and there •will he 'widespread hope that Mr Armstrong will consent to re-election, as his experience on the Board 'will he invaluable in the future, especially when the demand is for such able administrators as he has proved hi'mself.
