)SITE TIN ALEXANDRA STREET.
Consequent upon the decision of the Te Awamutu Borough Council to terminate the tenancy by the above Board of the Offices at .present occupied by it as from Ist March next, the latter body, at its meeting to be held to-mor-row, will have to consider the question of providing new accommodation for 'its office staff. The Board has still a portion of a loan hypothecated for this purpose, and already possesses a section in Alexandra Street where the stores have been erected and where it was intended to sooner or later erect the offices. Presumably the Board will now have no option hut to proceed with the building of its own 'office accommodation. Certainly it is urgen-ly required, as the present ibuildings are mere ramshackles, the demolition of which will be regretted hy no one.
