MUNICIPAL LOANS.
TWO PROPOSALS BEFORE THE RATEPAYERS.
it has been finally decided that the poll of ratepayers of the Te Awamutu borough on the loan proposals will be held on Friday, IStfli September. Two separate issues will be submitted for approval, namely:— 1. £25,000, for streets and footpaths improvement. 2. £ISOO for Eire Brigade requirements.
The voting, will /be taken on each issue separately, so that an adverse vote on one proposal will not negative the other.
'The Council is also borrowing, by way of special order, the sum of £3546 His 6d for the repayment of the antecedent liability. It is not necessary l that this proposal should be submitted to a vote of ratepayers.
