' FIRST DAY. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. The first day's racing opened in dull, threatening weather. The track is in fairly good order. Results:— Borough Handicap: Kinsem 1, Rational 2, Orchid 3. All started. Won by two lengths, with two and a half lengths between second and third. Time, 1-15 3-5.
