HAIRINI RABBIT BOARD.
MONTHLY MEETING
A i meeting of the Hairini Rabbit Board was held at the Farmers' Institute on Saturday, when there were present: Messrs H. Mandeno (chairman), W. Cavanagh, G. Hall, H. V. Collinson, C. Parker, and G. B. Melrose.
Mr Cavanagh moved, and Mr Parker seconded, that a rate of one penny in the £ on the rateable value of all rateable properties in the Hairini Rabbit district be levied for the year commencing April Ist, 1922, and ending March 31st, 1923, and be payable in one sum on June 30th, 1922.—Carried.
The balance-sheet to December 31, 1921, as approved by the Government auditor was adopted, and the chairman and treasurer authorised to sign same.
It was decided that the collection of overdue rates be placed in the hands of the Board's solicitor.
, Accounts amounting to £l6 »lls 6d were passed for payment and the meeting terminated.
