A WIDE MARGIN.
SHOULD BE MATERIALLY REDUCED. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. Speaking to a reporter prior tQ. his departure for England, Mr J. S. Jessop, vice-chairman of the Meat Control Board, said that that body wa.-s anxious that the wide margin between what the English consumer pays for our beef and what the New Zealand producer receives for it shall be materially reduced. "We think," he added, "that this can be done, and wo are going to try to reduce it so far as the New Zealand producer at any rats is concerned -We certainly hope our work will be beneficial to both producer and consumer.".
