IMMIGRANT EX-SERVICE MEN. By Telegraph. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Provincial Council of the Returned Soldiers’ Association passed a motion that immigrant ex-service men and their families were too important to the Dominion to warrant its stoppage, even temporarily; therefore the Government should facilitate the absorption of such immigrants by a progressive scheme of agricultural training and land settlement, and by encouraging new industries.
