KIM(> COUNTRY RORIES CONFER. EESOLU TIONS RE-A FFIRMED. At llie monthly meeting of the Waitomo County Council, held at Te Kuiti on Thursday last, the chairman reported that he had attended a meet-, ing of delegates from various neighbouring counties, convened by the Awakino County Council, to discuss the question of county boundaries. The counties of Awakino, Kawhia. and Kaitieke and the Kakepuku Road Board were represented. The chairman (Mr Boddie) detailed what had been done at a previous meeting, and asked for a resolution affirming the same. The chairman proposed. “That this meeting of representatives from the various local bodies endorse the resolutions passed at a meeting held in August, 1911*«!Nl. further, that another conference bo held at an early date to appoint representatives to place the matter before the Minister.” This was seconded by Mr Babbage and carried.
