Following his re-arrest, Knudsen, alias Petersen, appeared before Mr H. A. Young, S.M., at Hamilton, when he was charged with being an incorrigible rogue, in that he 'broke from his cell, and also with stealing a Government blanket. He pleaded guilty to both charges. His Worship sentenced prisoner to 12 months’ imprisonment, with hard labour, on the first charge, and to one month’s imprisonment on the second, both to take effect at the termination of his present sentence.
