THE WOODVJLLE MEETING WIN FOR CHOPIN. From the monetary point of view the Woodville meeting, which closed yesterday, was probably the worst in the history of the club. The total isator turn-over Lor the two days was only £16,184, a decrease of £10,072 as compared with last year. Another win fell to Mr W. J. Wodd’s Chopin, who captured first money in the Autumn Handicap by a head. In the Maharahara Handicap Mr T. W. Wills’ Fitz Quex ran into third position. Results:— Novice. —Valueless 1, Flute 2. Hopelands High-weight.—Warfille 1, Tunbridge 2. Autumn Handicap.—Chopin 1, Statuary 2. Debutante Stakes.—Esteem 1, Riehborough 2. Telegraph.—Arrow Lad 1, Ridgemount 2. Mangapapa Handicap.—Baskier 1. Golden Shadow 2. Victoria Hack Cup.—Air Laddie 1, Arajean 2. Maharahara Handicap.—Habit 1, Rory Mor 2.
