ARGYLL NEWS.

(Contributed). A happy gathering of Argyll residents, headed bv Mr \\ . Addis, collected at “Brooklyn” to welcome home Mr Larsen and his bride. A most enjoyable time was spent with dancing and songs. Musical items were rendered by Messrs .J. Stevenson, G. McLeod, D. Butler, H. Gilhooly, Pohio (2) and J. Hamilton. The following evening the same party assembled at “Linburn,” this time to farewell Mr and Mrs Pohio and family, who are leaving the district. During the course of the evening Mr and Mrs Pohio were presented with a set of pipe* and travelling rug respectively. Songs were contributed bv Messrs D. O’Rourke, 1). Eddy, T. Sullivan, G. Morrison, J. Hamilton and G. McLeod. Much appreciated humorous items were given by Messrs J. Stevenson and TL. Gil lioolv. The accompaniments were ably played by the Misses Pohio.
