THE STRAITS SWIM.

MISS GLEITZE TO TRY AGAIN

(Electric Telegraph—Copyright). LONDON, March 12. It now transpires that Miss Gleitze could hardly have landed, even if successful in swimming the Straits of Gibraltar, as she forgot to store her clothes in the accompanying tug. The Military Governor of Tarifa invited her. in the name of the townsfolk, to reattempt the swim, declaring that she is much braver than a bull-fighter. Miss Gleitze is the gnest. of the Governor. She announces that she will make one more attempt.—(A, & N.Z.)
