WAIPUKURAU STOCK SALE,

The Stock Agents’ Association report having held their weekly sale at Waipukurau yesterday. Weather conditions were excelfent, and a good attendance of the«public faced the various brokers. Bidding was brisk, and prices were well up to the usuai standard. The following are some of the lines sold under the hammer: — Fat ewes 32s 3d to 425, fat wethers 30s to 455, ewes and lambs 35s to 375, m.s. hoggets 24s lid to 30s Id, shorn wether hoggets 30s, 3-year heifers in calf to Hereford hulls £8 5s to £9 17s 6d. MR C. PARKER’S SALE. The clearing sale of Mr C. Parker’s stock and farm implements held on Monday was most successful. There was a record attendance, and prices were exceptionally good. Ewes brought 445, 2-tooth wethers 335, hoggets 32s 3d, fat and forward ewes 34s and 36s 3d, rams 21s, bull £ls, Holstein cow £lB 10s, Jersey £2O, draught horses from £43 to £64 15s, child's pony £2O, motor car £2lO. Farm implements sold well up to full market rates.
