UNIONS URGED TO TAKE ACTION. TO END WAR IN RUSSIA. (Electric Telegraph.—Copyright). (Received This Day, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, June 27. The Labor Conference at Southport, by 1,898,000 votes to 935,000, urged the Trade Union Congress to prepare for industrial action to compel the Government to cease operations in Russia. Speakers alleged that the war was carried on in the interest of capital invested in Russia.—(A. & N.Z.)
