AS PRESIDENT. (Received This Day, 1.55 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 27. De Valera, in a statement, said:— “I am now ready to assume my official duties as President of the Irish Republic. I seek America’s aid for Ireland and I will get it.”.—(A. & N.Z.)
