(Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This day The Herald's Melbourne correspondent reports that Mr Deakin yielded to the pressure of his colleagues in retaining office. When the House meets on Wednesday, a postponement motion for a Royal Commission on the post office will be asked until the tariff is passed. If that is not postponed Mr Doakin will resign.
