(Before Mr Brabant, S.M.) H. Poynter v B. Jones, claim £4 4s 28, judgment for plaintiff with costs 10s. Waipawa County Council v D. Green, for breaches of the heavy traffic by-laws on tho 2oth and 26 h June, 1906 Defendant pleaded guilty aud was fined 408 on each charge, costs £L 15s. Stock Inspector v J. Bailey, broaoh of the Slaughtering Act, in that he fed pigs on unboiled offal. Defendant pleaded guilty. Mr Norris, in mitigation, on behalf of his client, explained that the offal boiler had burst on the Friday, and the new boiler had arrived late on Saturday night. To clear the a< cumulated offal away his client had on the Monday morning given some to the pigs, although it could not be first boiled. Fined 20s and 7s costs. Police v C. MoFarlane, causing breach of the peace at Waipukurau. Pleaded guilty and was fined 10a, costs 7s. Police v J. McCarthy, using obsoeno language at Waipukurau on the Bth instant. Pleaded guilty and was fined 208, costs 7s. [Before Mr M. Murray, J.P.] Police v W. Kiley, theft of a cash box valued at 16s at Hastings. Romandod to appear there later on iu the day.
