Life Assurance Bill.
[Received 10 28 a.m.] MELBOURNE, This day. The new Life Assurance Bill provides that foreign companies opening business in the Commonwealth must deposit £20,000, the existing companies’ deposit to extent to two thirds of the valuation of their policies. When the latter deposit is made, the original deposit of £20,000 may be withdrawn.
