At the same time he might also propound the reasons that induced him to vote for an increase in his salary, of £6O a year, as a member of the House. A good many in this locality fail to see what he has doue to entitle him to such a “ Liberal ” advance in his screw, considering his parliamentary duties occupy hut four or five months of the year.—l am, etc., Elector.
