WHEREAS it is proved that no Valuation List for the Waipawa Town District has been prepared as required by “ The Rating Act, 1876 Notice is hereby given that I the undersigned, George Augustus Preece, Judge of the Assessment Court for the said Waipawa Town District have appointed BENJAMIN BAYLEY JOHNSON, to be VALUER to make such Valuation List, and I do further appoint FRIDAY, the 25th day of August, 1884, for the completion thereof, and I direct that the said List shall be open for public inspection at the Courthouse, Waipawa, from the 25th day of August, 1884, to the 25th day of September, 1884 ; and that all objections thereto shall be delivered at the Courthouse, Waipawa, on or before the 25th day of September, 1884, addressed to the Assessment Court : And Ido further appoint a sitting of the said Assessment Court, for the hearing of the said objections, to be held at the Courthouse, Waipawa, on WEDNESDAY, the 15th day of October, 1884, at noon.
