POBANG AH AD. (from our own correspondent) November 5. I greatly regret having to record the death of little Georgie, son of our P veil-known and respected landlord of 'ie Duke of Edinburgh hotel, which .ent took place on Thursday last. The poor little fellow was a favorite with every one. The funeral service took place in St Michael’s Church. This is the first interment that has been solemnised in the consecrated portion of the burial ground. Great sympathy is evinced for the bereaved parents. Mr Smith’s meeting on Monday night was very well attended, and judging by the frequent applause, his speech, which was, on the whole, a resume of his other district speeches, met with the approval of a considerable portion of the audience. A vote of thanks was carried unanimously. The weather has been most unpropitious for shearing lately, but seems to be taking up now. METH CHUBC YA The ret. r will Sold, above 13, Advare invited 11.
