Mrs Mac Diarmid Plays Another Fine Round

Mra H. C. Mac Diarmid, who has been playing outstanding goli of recent weeks, recorded another excellent round on the Cambridge Links on Wednesday, with a score of 75-,7-68. A week previously her handicap was reduceu to Sf,- and then as a result of another fine round at Putaruru during the week-end, she came down another point to 7. Wednesdays round, whieh saw her out in 35 and homje in 40, earned her a further, reduction to 5.

It is to be hoped that Mrs Mac Diarmid will be able to compete in the New Zealand" Championship in November. She will take part in the South Auckland Championship at Hamilton next week, at whieh the leading Auckland players will be present. Others from Cambridge competing will be Mesdames F. H. Hardy, F. Clrabb, K, S. Browne and Miss J. Thomipsomj. It was in a ninet-hole Eclectc for hev own trophy that Mrs Mac Diarmid played on Wednesday. .The winner was Mrs J, Wallace with 27 net. Next where Mrs W.
