RESTAURANT RAIDED

A Rotorua restaurant serving counter snacks was raided recently by a hungry band of youngsters who were unable to wait for their evening meal. At five o’clock, when the shop was full of evening customers, the gang burst through the door, raced to the counter, helped themselves to handfuls of cream assorted jelly cakes and bolted into the street and around the corner, tq find some suitable place to consume their spoil.
