FARM FERTILISERS
THE RATIONING SCHEME FARMERS' MISCONCEPTION Over 300 applications have been received from farmers by the Waikato Fertiliser Committee, which is considering cases of difliculty under the Fertiliser Control Regulations. The chairman of the committee, Mr J. F. Shepherd, has stated that there were some misconceptions .under the scheme. For instance, where farms had been sold since the regulations came into force some farmers were of the opinion that the fertiliser allocated under Form I (topdressing form) could be based on another property. This was not the case, said Mr Shepherd, the fertiliser allocated on Form I referring only to the property when the form was completed at June 30, 1941. Where a sale had taken place after June 1, 1939, farmers were advised to cancel immediately the fertiliser allocation under Form I with their vendor.
