VISIT TO HAMILTON It was ,« colossal undertaking by J. C. Williamson Ltd: to import from Europe to Australia the whole of Colonel de Basil's world famous Monte Carlo Russian Ballet, which is to be . s Presented; at the Theatre Royal, Hamilton, on Thursday, 18th March.- There are over 100 travelling members in the Monte Carlo Ballet, including great dancing stars whose names; are familiar in London,. Ncw" : York and on the Continent. ..<„ „.,;V>; '.'"'. ~,. ; , '"# f/! y,, • The ballets to. be presented are tljose' irt'\vhich the company has achieved its great successes in London and Australia, namely "Lei (romantic reverie with music by Chopin), ' "Scheherazade" (powerful drama in one act with music by Rimsky-Korsakov), and "Le Manage D'Aurore" (Aurora's Wedding), 'gala"'ballet in one act with music by Tchaikowsky.
A special train has been engaged to convey the Monte Carlo Russian Ballet from one town to another. The box plans will be opened on Monday, March 15.
