FIRE BRIGADE
DEMONSTRATION AT NELSON CAMBRIDGE TEAM LEAVES Five members of the Cambridge Fire Brigade, Superintendent W. Harris, Motorrnan T. Steen, Firemen E. Byrne; T.,Beer and H. Hooker, left on Thursday evening to attend the bi-annual conference and demonstration at Nelson. They will arrive today, and take part in a church parade tomorrow, after which the conference will continue until Thursday. This will be followed by a demonstration and the Cambridge team, which has been training assiduously is expected to perform well. The trip will opciipy ten-days.-Foreman F.'Thomasson, of Cambridge, is also, attending.the conference as an official. Mr Geo. Drew, who retired from the position of Superintendent last year, is, fegrejtting very much that, he is unable to make the trip for the first time for many years. If it had not been that he is hot enjoying the best of health, he would have accompanied the team, but he; had to. be satisfied with visitirig| Fiankton to see the men off.
