THE FRANKTON SALE* SHEEP VALUES FIRM An average yarding of fat sheep came forward at the Frankton saleyards on Tuesday. Competition was 1 firm throughout, values remaining,' the same as last week. There was armoderate yarding of fat lambs, and export buyers operated freely at: full late rates. The entry of fat cattle was smaller in all classes, no ox beef being penned, and there were also fewer fat cows offering. Competition was dull, especially for aged heavy cows, but vendors in most cases met the market, and: values were about on a par with those of last week. A small offering of vealers showed a slight improvement in values, with bestteir cows and potter bulls selling - readily at late rates. Pigs were offered in medium numbers, and the entry of stores and weaners was lighter. Baconers and porkers eased slightly, and slips and weaners were hard to quit. The auctioneers report. as follows:
