NGAROMA SETTLERS
HELP FROM WOMEN’S DIVISION,
PEACTIdAL ASSISTANCE,
A generous response has been made to the appeal of the Cambridge -Women’s Division of the Farmers:’ Union for assistance for the needy settlers m the Ngardma district.
On Saturday last a lorry ■ was despatched from Cambridge, conveying seven sugar bags of clothing, two sacks of potatoes, one bag books, etc. Two donations of cash, £1 and 5/ respectively, were used for the purchase of a 70lb bag of- sugar and 251 bof oatmeal. These goods, -which are to be distributed among those requiring assistance, will be taken on from Te Awamutu to Ngaroma free of cost.
