CAMBRIDGE STOCK SALE. BAD WEATHER CONDITIONS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having held their bi-wceklv stock sale at Cambridge yesterday. The entry- of beef and store cattle was fair, and met with good competition. A large penning of dairy cattle also sold readily, backward sorts being slightly dull. We quote: — Fat cows £5 7/6 to £7; fat heifers £4 14 /to £6 1/; forward cows £3 15/ to £4 12/; store cows £2 to £3 3/; yearling Jersey heifers £3 9/ to £4 .1/; yearling heifers £2 TO/; herd of cows ex Pio Pio: Forward cows £7 5/ to £9: backward £3 10/ to £6; good Shorthorn cows £6 15/ to £8 10/; choice dairy cows, Jerseys £lO to £l3 10/: others £7 to £9 5/; forward heifers £7 10/ to £9; backward £5 10/ to £6 15/.
Porkers £2 2/ to £2 6/; good stores £1 12/ to £1 16/; slips £1 1/ to £1 S/; woaners best IS/ to £1 1/, others 10/ to 16/6; sows in pig £1 .16/ to £2 15/.
