THE GENERAL ELECTION" MPt MERVYN WELLS TO STAND Mr Mervyn Wells, of Cambridge, elsewhere definitely announces his candidature for the new Waikato electorate. Mr Wells is one of the best-known public* men of this district, he being chairman of the Cambridge Power Board and chairman of the CambiMge Co-op. Dairy Company. He has repded here for many years, and is known as a most able business man, a keen sport, and an ardent supporter of anything for the advancement of the district. Mr Wells is sure of a strong following.
