THE CRISIS PASSED. ORIENTALS ACfcffiPT TERMS. Received 10 p. m , 22nd. Vancouver, July 22. The party of Hindoos on board the Komagata Maru has agreed to leave peacefully upon the Government's terms. jj After a day of excitement, during which the guns of the training cruiser Rainbow were trained upon the Komagata Maru and armed military men and military and special police were ready to descend upon the Hindoos, peace has been arranged through the guod oliices of the leaders of Hindoos on shore. The latter, after negotiating the i whole day. induced the Komagata Maru party to agree to the Immigration Department's offer to provide provisions and medicine sufficient for the return journey if the Hindoos would leave immediately. Arrangej merits were thereupon made to raise j steam. It is believed that the Ko- ! magata Maru will sail within 2-1 hours. .Mr Martin Burrell, M.P., represented Sir R. L. Borden and the | Cabinetjat the former's special reI quest. Sir R. L. Borden has been in j communication with the Colonial Office, from whom he received a request to exhaust every peaceable means before resorting to force. Mr Burrell acted accordingly, although local opinion, inflamed by the recent affray, favoured the most vigorous measures against the Hindoos. -
