Teheran, April 27-

Two companies of Cossacks have been sent to Tabriz. A detachment of the Frontier Guard has occupied the Persian town of Julfa, and other Russian troops are marching from Tiflis. The Shah, after negotiating with the besieged town, consented to an indefinite prolongation of the armistice. Both Nationalists and Royalists are profoundly uneasy on account of Russia’s intervention.
