THE WATER FAMINE. Sydney, July 14. The South Australian Government has decided to Bupply 80,000 gallons of water weekly to Broken Hill at the rate of ten shillings per .1000 gallons. This will take 27 trains to convey, and the cost will be borne by New South Wales and South Australia contributing equally. STBIKE DISMISSALS. Melbourne, July 14. Over 200 enginemen have now received their expected notice of dismissal in connection with the recent strike. CABLE EEPAIES. Adelaide. July 14. The cable steamer Restore sails on the 20th to repair a fault located about 300 miles off the New Zealand coast.
